HARRISBURG – Sen. Pat Stefano (R-32), chair of the Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, is hosting a hearing about services in Pennsylvania for veterans on Monday, Oct. 25, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Hearing Room 1, North Office Building, Main Capitol Complex.
During the hearing, the committee will hear from the Joint State Government Commission regarding its report, “Coordination of Veterans Services in Pennsylvania,” in response to Senate Resolution 170 of 2019.
Other testifiers include representatives from the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, including the Adjutant General of Pennsylvania Maj. Gen. Mark J. Schindler; Marc Ferraro, executive deputy secretary; Brig. Gen. Maureen Weigl, deputy adjutant general for Veterans Affairs; and Joel Mutschler, director of the bureau of Veterans Programs, Initiatives, Reintegration and Outreach. Other speakers will include Glenn Pasewicz, executive director, and Frank Lill, public policy analyst of the Joint State Government Commission.
